Tiny Tale (1)

“The story of a life can be as long or as short as the teller wishes.” – Michel Houellebecq

Introducing a new section on my blog – Tiny Tales (inspired by TerriblyTinyTales which brings together writers that write extremely short stories – the size of tweets).

A Moment of Love

The meal was prepared, dishes laid out. He tasted his wife’s first culinary effort. His tongue drowned in salt. His face gave him away. She noticed. They stared at each other. They laughed out loud!

I hope you enjoyed this tiny tale. Please leave your comments below to let me know how you liked it.

Cheers!

  1. The cat sat between the two old lovers. They leaned on each other, watching a movie of hope. At the scary part, the wife hid her eyes against her husband’s neck. Sending her fear, the little fluffy cat jumped on the remote control turning the TV off and looking so proud of herself that the evening ended in laughter.

      1. Genevieve sat in the mud, cleverly designing all of the things a society would need. She made flatware that was rounded, plates, bowls, a pitcher. She made people the color of red and yellow. When she sat back at the end of her day, she asked her mother, “Mom, how do I create peace for my people.” Genevieve was seven.
