Tiny Tales

Tiny Tale (9)

Fall

It numbed her body and she couldn’t move a muscle. The fall was terrible.

Until she jerked and her eyes opened, only to find herself snuggled upto him.

  1. This is quite the Tiny Tale! It all started depressing but just like that, she’s happy all over again. It could be a good thing – like she had a nightmare and woke up realising it was just a bad dream. Or the tale could be referring to something much deeper – like how some of us keep staying in a certain relationship because of one thing that makes us happy. Wonderfully written as usual 🙂

    1. Wow Mabel! You make me see perspectives in my tale that I did design 🙂
You are so wonderful at interpreting these short tales, I’m jealous! Have a wonderful day ahead. Hope things are well at your end.

      1. Oh no Mabel! You read it perfectly well. I only meant that your interpretations are beautiful.
As for what I intended to write.. it is a simple moment where you wake up from awful dreams but just the presence of somebody can extend warmth and calm 🙂

  2. Hello Aishwarya. How are you?! What a great story – so much story in so few words ! I often have the falling feeling/dream and then wake up all of a sudden…it’s always nice to realise I’m ok, and not falling, and am lying next to my man 🙂
    Thanks for sharing

    1. I totally relate to this feeling too. It’s happened too many times to me 😉
And I was essentially looking at some poster and the word ‘fall’ stood out to me and I decided to use it as a prompt 🙂

  3. My tiny tale:
They told her she was going to fall but she didn’t believe them, until it happened.
When she saw the big eyes and wagging tail, she couldn’t help but fall in love with her new puppy! 🙂
