Playing on unfamiliar Turfs

New mornings…as autumn bids goodbye and paves way for a cold and damp winter in this part of the world, every morning is a new revelation. There’s something to look forward to, there’s something that has changed from what it was like yesterday. Leading a new life in a new place with some new dreams and new goals… And the unfamiliarity of it all…that’s new too.

It has been a while since I visited my own page. I can count at least dozen things that are different about my life since the last time I posted something. And all the difference is welcome! I am enjoying this. More about that in a post later…wait till we go on a stroll together and we have all the time in the world to talk about it! What? Why? How? When? Where?

A busy morning in my world. Too many things to do, very little time to do it all. A viral infection dampened my spirits for a while but now I am back to doing what I like doing best – writing and reading! It is 10:00 AM here. Much has happened since I woke up but now I decided to take a moment to just sit and read some of your work. And somehow, I found the inspiration for this post.

Hello and welcome to the stroll today. Hasn’t it been long since we went on a walk together? Hasn’t quite a bit changed since we spoke to each other last? Or has it not? Well, we are here to find that out and to speak our hearts out to each other. Isn’t there always stuff that you can’t share with anyone? Isn’t there always stuff that you wished someone would listen to and appreciate/absorb/help you with? 

Tiny Tale (5)

It has been an extremely busy week here for me. And it has been a terrible one in many ways. But it has been a memorable one too. All that went wrong, all that made me strong – all of it will be remembered and will stay with me forever.

With the posts on the TOI Heritage Walks now over, I have been wondering about what to write. Writing a series is a lot of fun and is on some level easier than writing independent posts. You have something to look forward to, you have something to write about, you have a thread that you can pursue from post to post. But now I am left with an emptiness in my heart and brain! While I was contemplating on the content, this tiny tale took birth and then I knew exactly what I want to write about.

For those of you who have stayed with my Heritage Walk series, welcome again to this space and I hope this post interests you just as much as the earlier ones. This post is definitely the closest to my heart. I enjoyed this bit the most during the walk and now that I get to relieve the experience, nothing like it! Let us talk about Pol and life within it.

Switching Channels

Switching news channels these days is bringing more pain than knowledge. I agree, it is important to know what is going on in the world. But not at the cost of my mental peace!
